Haley Lewis is an online journalist with Global News covering Indigenous stories predominantly across B.C.
She is kanyen’keha:ka from the Bay of Quinte on her father’s side and brings that lens into all of her reporting.
Prior to joining Global News, Haley was Culture + Society Editor at The Conversation and held various roles at CBC, TVO and HuffPost Canada – she also spent time working with Indigenous organizations like the National Association of Friendship Centres and the First Nations Information Governance Centre.
When she’s not working on stories you can find her riding her bike, beading and hanging out with her corgi.
She’s currently based in lək̓ʷəŋən Territory (Victoria, B.C.).
