Presented by Fortis BC and retail sponsor London Drugs get your 2024 Pink Shirt Day gear before it sells out! Pink Shirt Day will be happening Wednesday February 28th this year featuring a brand Pink Shirt Day design from Corey Bulpitt.
Corey Bulpitt is an internationally recognized artist from the Haida Na7ikun-Raven Clan. Bulpitt is known for his graffiti-influenced, Haida-style work, with pieces displayed across the country, including one of his best-known pieces of public work, a mural located under the Granville Street Bridge in Vancouver. His work is featured in galleries, museums, and private collections world-wide.
CKNW Kids’ Fund is honoured to showcase Bulpitt’s work through the 2024 Pink Shirt Day campaign, presented by FortisBC. This design was created by Bulpitt in his signature graffiti style, with two gesturing hands featuring a traditional Haida human face. This indicates the welcoming and respect of others and serves as a friendly greeting which is used throughout Coast Salish communities, with similar gestures used throughout communities in the Northwest Coast. The Pink Shirt Day campaign recognizes the importance of unity, inclusivity, and diversity of all people.

Canyon Lights transforms the Park into an unforgettable holiday experience. Cross the world-famous bridge, lit end-to-end with a multi-colour display above the illuminated Capilano River and canyon. Journey into a magical glowing rainforest and walk high above the forest floor on the glittery Treetops Adventure. Wind your way along the twinkling cliffside pathway of Cliffwalk and experience the Park’s newest light installation. The 23-city tour kicks off on July 6 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO, while making stops at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN; SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA; Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL; JOURNEY’s hometown of San Francisco, CA at Oracle Park and more before wrapping up in Denver, CO at Coors Field on September 8. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) announces its 2022/23 Season: its 104th season of irresistible musical experiences and one of its most exciting to date. From Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven, to the music of Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin, The Police and Harry Potter, there is something for everyone’s musical tastes next season at the VSO.
Led by Music Director Otto Tausk since 2018, the VSO performs more than 150 concerts each year, throughout Vancouver and the province of British Columbia, reaching over 270,000 people annually. On tour the VSO has performed in the United States, China, Korea and across Canada.
